Finqware, a pan-European payment institution and provider of Open Banking infrastructure for businesses, announces the integration of its FinqData solution into 24Broker, Romania’s most advanced insurtech solution, developed by LIFE IS HARD. The platform facilitates distribution and effective interaction among all participants in the insurance market.
Through this integration, FinqData, the bank data aggregation service developed by Finqware, will give 24Broker users access to account, balance and transaction information, normalized so it can be used directly in automated workflows. The solution offers ready-to-use bank connections to over 150 financial institutions across more than 20 European countries. The integration is already available to 24Broker users.
Reconciling incoming payments remains one of the most time-consuming activities in insurance brokers’ daily operations, as bank statements must be checked manually to match each payment with the corresponding policy. By connecting directly to users’ bank accounts, 24Broker automatically retrieves transactions and matches them within the platform, eliminating manual verifications. Brokers therefore gain a real-time view of incoming payments, spend less time on repetitive operations and face a lower risk of errors.
With FinqData, our aim is to turn bank data into a real-time resource for the software applications companies already use. The integration with 24Broker demonstrates how Open Banking can become a natural part of the operational workflows of a specialized platform and eliminate manual tasks that add no value for users.
For LIFE IS HARD, the integration supports its strategy of developing 24Broker as digital infrastructure for the insurance industry by expanding features designed to automate financial processes. This is an essential step toward greater efficiency, given that more than 9,000 agents currently use 24Broker and over 3.8 million contracts were brokered through the platform in 2025.
We are building the insurance ecosystem of the future. LIFE IS HARD invests strategically in technology, digitalization and education to drive a genuine leap forward in how insurance is distributed and consumed. Our partnership with Finqware and the integration of FinqData into 24Broker are precisely the kind of steps that turn this vision into concrete processes, simplifying brokers' work day after day. At the same time, we are investing in the next generation of professionals, because transforming an industry requires not only technology, but also the people who will carry it forward. Our goal is to give every participant access to a connected ecosystem that accelerates distribution, simplifies interactions with insurance and creates new growth opportunities.
This collaboration marks a new stage in the development of Finqware’s presence in the insurance industry, after its treasury management solution had already been used for financial automation by five of the market’s leading players.
